Easy Shrimp and Garlic Bread Pasta

Easy Shrimp and Garlic Bread Pasta Recipe


 

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons of butter
  • 1 1/2 lb of shrimp (peeled and deveined*)
  • 1  Lemon (1/2 for zest and the other 1/2 for juice)
  • 1/2 cup of ground up packaged Garlic Butter Croutons
  • 1 package of your favorite pasta (I recommend angel hair – yum!)
  • ~1 cup of reserved pasta water
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare pasta ahead of time and set aside (remember to save the pasta water!)
  • Melt 2 1/2 T of butter in a pan over medium high heat
  • Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper
  • Add 1.5 pounds of shrimp
  • Stir mixing all the ingredients – you will hear it sizzling
  • Add zest from half of a lemon – brightens up the beautiful flavors
  • Continue to stir
  • Add cooked pasta and stir
  • Cut up 1/2 of the lemon and squeeze over pasta
  • Add pasta water in small amounts while stirring until the pasta is moist and not clumping
  • Add ground garlic butter croutons
  • Stir and mix in thoroughly
  • Add additional pasta water as you stir making sure there is a nice sauce
  • Add 1/2 T of butter
  • Stir and mix in thoroughly
  • Plate and enjoy
