3 Amazingly Easy Homemade Flavored Vodkas

I am so excited to show you these homemade flavored Vodka recipes as they are some of my most downloaded recipes on Chop Happy. I was not born with an arts-and-crafts gene, but making these flavored vodkas is so easy and really is a wow-inducing gift you can give as a host to your guests.

So the first obvious question is why you would make your own flavored vodka if there are tons of great ones already in the stores. I find that these homemade versions are so much smoother than the store-bought versions, and you can customize the labels and bottles to make it that much more cute and fun! You are going to be surprised at how amazed people are by this gift!

Once you learn the technique for this homemade flavored vodka recipe, you can change it up by using different fruits and even adding your own blend of spices.

Super Important Tip: Use vodka you love to drink. Even with the added yummy flavors, the quality of vodka does matter.

Let me know which one you are going to make. I am so excited to see which ones you guys like!

Happy Cooking, and I am so excited to have you in Chop Happy Land!

1) Pineapple Vodka

You won’t believe how easy it is to make this mango slushy. As you sip this, you will taste the tart-sweet mango, fruity wine, and a touch of citrus. To make this even easier, I use store-bought frozen mangos. This eliminates the step of cutting the fruit and freezing overnight because honestly, who has time to wait for a cocktail? So for all my busy home cooks, this is dedicated to you.

2) Homemade Vanilla Vodka

This is not your average mango salad. It’s smoky, sweet, and juicy, with just a hint of spice and a touch of mint to round out the flavor. If you follow my blog, you know that bacon is a vegetable in Chop Happy land, and for me to be excited about a fruit salad, it has to have lots of flavor personality.

3) Homemade Cucumber Vodka

It’s a Taco Pasta Party! Not only is it super easy, the big bonus is that this recipe has lots of leftovers to make life just a little bit easier.  This creamy smoky sauce is a 3-ingredient dressing that you can use on salads, potato salad, or as a fun southwestern dip. Here, we make it with store-bought chili seasoning that you might already have in your cabinet so it really helps cut down on prep time.

Fun Gifting Tip:
  • Add a few extra treats. When you give this to your friend, throw in a bag limes or lemons or add a mixer that they love (like orange juice, seltzer, or ginger beer).
  • Print out a fun recipe label on how you made the vodka.
  • Add a bow because everything looks better with a bowl.
