Golden milk (turmeric tea) is sweet, warming, and tastes like chai tea with a yummy kick. First of all, I love this drink because it is packed with antioxidants from the turmeric, and will not make your tummy hurt because you use cashew milk (which is lactose-free). Most importantly, turmeric milk has a distinct indulgent luxurious taste.

Golden Milk

If you are like me and think bacon is a vegetable, then this recipe is for you. Golden milk tastes like a guilty pleasure but you can drink as much as you want because its super healthy.

In true chop happy style, I made this simpler and faster for you to enjoy. I made the recipe easy by just having your pour everything into a mug and drink. No more messy pots. Finally, not only is it tasty, but the yellowish orange color makes it look sexy and yummy before your first sip.

Technique Tip: Golden milk stays tasty in fridge for a week. You can double or triple the recipe below. Just warm the cashew milk in a pot instead of a mug. Make sure the golden milk cools before refrigerating.

        Other Milks You Can Use:

  • Cashew (we use this in the recipe below)
  • Almond
  • Lactose-free (regular milk is inflammatory)
  • Soy Milk
  • Rice Milk
  • Coconut Milk

YOUR DASH OF GRATITUDE:

“How you feel on the inside is a direct reflection of what happens on the outside!”
