Warning this shake will make you dance and cheer from the crazy amazing combo. Pie and ice cream dance together to form the perfect dessert. The best part is leave the spoons to rest because we blend it up into a shake. Just imagine the sweet gooey pie and the creamy ice cream going up the straw fulfilling its dessert destiny.

Leftover Pumpkin Pie Shake Recipe. After Thanksgiving, Chriistemas, Hanukkah, or Sunday Dinner grab your blender for this 3 ingredient dessert. All you need is pumpkin pie, ice cream, and milk! Happy Cooking! www.ChopHappy.com #pie #leftovers

You can change the pie flavors to apple, cherry or what ever your pie heart desires. You also can use fun flavored ice cream like cinnamon, chocolate or caramel fudge. I am a purist and love the vanilla ice cream so the pie shines – but get down with your pie self.

As a kid we always had a pie at the holidays and no one ever ate it because our real last name is chocoholics. We also always had ice cream to go with the pie – that of course we ate. But there was always leftovers and one day I decided to do a blender experiment and here is my tasty decadent creation.

Pumpkin Pie Shake Recipe

(Makes 2 shakes)

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of a pumpkin pie – or any left over pie will work great!
  • 1/2 pint of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Fast and Easy Instructions (the hardest part is trying not to eat the ice cream before it hits the blender)

In a blender, throw in a left over slice pie (in this case I’m using pumpkin) the creamy dreamy vanilla ice cream and some cold refreshing “it’s good for you” milk – and then blend away to magical shake heaven!

What is your fave type of pie?

With a grateful heart and a pie shake tummy – Jay
